Super September Educational Clinics Filling Up Fast

Reno, Nevada - July 1, 2019 - Do you want to learn new riding and horsemanship skills, need a USEF/USHJA licensed officials clinic or simply want to soak up knowledge and expertise from world-renowned trainers? Then, join us for the Maplewood Stables and Goodtoknow Horses Super September Clinic Series.
This year's six-event series, which is filling up quickly, now includes Young Horse Trainer School, Course Design School, Sport Horse Conformation Seminar, a Hunter/Equitation Judge's School, Jumper Judge's School and a USHJA Trainer Certification Program clinic.
Attendees have the opportunity to study and learn from industry leaders in the equestrian world, including an Olympic Games Show Jumping course designer, renowned Hunter and Equitation judges and course designers, Sport Horse Conformation specialists as well as internationally sought-after horse trainers from the United States and South America.

The Sport Horse Conformation Seminar, Course Design School, Hunter/Equitation Judge's School and Jumper Judge's School are approved by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) for continuing education and licensing for their judges and designers.

Olympic Games veteran course designer Linda Allen is a clinician for the Young Horse Trainer School and Course Design School.
The sixth annual Young Horse Trainer School has now become a sought-after educational opportunity for horse trainers wishing to learn more about training young horses. From halter breaking foals to backing 3-year-olds to preparing sport horse prospects for age group classes and show ring, the school offers a variety of educational opportunities, both in the classroom and in the arenas, to expand your horsemanship and training knowledge.
"This week never disappoints!" said Julie Winkel. "The opportunities here to learn about young horses, training and expand your horsemanship knowledge are second to none. I encourage anyone interested in young horses and training horses in general to attend this unique school."
For the third consecutive year, the Sport Horse Conformation Seminar will feature veterinarians Danny Marks (a Show Jumping Hall of Fame member) and Chrysann Collatos, as well as conformation expert and judge Julie Winkel. They will analyze and discuss the conformation and athletic attributes of a variety of sport horses, from young prospects to dressage horses, show hunters and Grand Prix jumping veterans. In addition, the clinic will include educational seminars, classroom instruction and live judging practice.

The Course Design School, with clinicians Linda Allen and Meghan Rawlins, is open to riders, trainers and anyone interested in understanding the nuts and bolts of quality course construction to improve your horses and your competitive edge. The school will also cover practical advice for walking Jumper and Equitation courses. Analysis and discussion will take place after observing horses jumping the various tracks and lines designed by participants.
While covering material used in the USHJA Licensed Officials Judge's Clinics, the Reno Hunter/Equitation Judge's School curriculum will also include materials from the comprehensive Arabian Horse Association Judges & Exhibitors School, classroom instruction, roundtable discussion and live judging practice. This school, led by USEF R-rated judges Fran Dotoli and Julie Winkel, is open to judges, riders, trainers and anyone interested in learning more about judging and the processes involved, from ethics and integrity to bookkeeping, rules and licensing.

The Reno Jumper Judge's School is open to judges, riders, trainers and anyone interested in learning more about jumper judging or seeking to apply or renew their licensing requirements with the USEF/USHJA. The clinic, taught by Jack Robson and Charlotte Skinner-Robson, will include a full day of classroom instruction.
The USHJA Trainer Certification Program Clinic is for trainers wishing to become certified or renew their certification and is also a valuable educational opportunity for those who want to learn more about teaching. In addition, the clinic offers riding spaces for those who would like to improve their skills under the tutelage of two well-respected and knowledgeable educators.
